Bee University NYC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that engages urban communities through hands-on training in beekeeping, leadership, and environmental advocacy.
Our vision is for urban communities to be intentionally exposed to careers in the green jobs industry through the practice of beekeeping and environmental stewardship.

Through an intergenerational educational approach, Bee-U aims to foster a sense of community by bringing together people of diverse backgrounds to learn about the importance of beekeeping.

Bee-U aims to further utilize and develop green spaces and public parks, particularly in low-income and marginalized communities. Future beekeepers gain a better understanding about the historical socioeconomic context behind environmental justice in urban communities.
